I've just come in from the balcony to cool down.
Yesterday Mary had me re-potting plants in new pots which she had bought.
Today I re-potted the same plants in nicer pots that she bought today-
Temperature range? 37C in the shade and 46C in the direct sun.
Thunder and Lightning is a safe bet for tonight tongue.gif biggrin.gif

I couldn't find it and after a few tries on Search I settled for what I got Wormy. It happens a lot here with doubled Topics. BTW by almost 6 this evening the temperature was no different. Balcony must be a heat trap.

Cold,15c wet & generally miserable here . Typical Glasgow weather seems to be the case when I have a few days home.

Today, in Ayrshire, we still have the snow which fell on Boxing Day plus another wee flurry a few days ago. The temperature has been freezing, with highs of only 2degrees and -4 at present. (Our snowman from Boxing Day’s still in our garden. ⛄)

Because of the freezing conditions, the snow is rutted and frozen, the roads are sheet ice, after some rain 2 nights ago, and walking is lethal. Driving’s a bit better.

January ,January !!!!! I have to look at the calendar to be sure. 7am Sunday morning,I`m sitting in my winter dressing gown and my wee feet heat pad on. This time last year we were gasping from the bushfires smoke,40 degrees or near that every day for a couple of months. Extra cents on the milk to help the farmers with the drought, now the dams are getting close to dangerously overflowing. wonder who`s getting the extra cents now, maybe the farmers are enjoying buying a new Mercedes .(BTW a Merc is still a prestige car here, although they`re 10 a penny in UK and Europe.)
