The whole day aw ma mum said wis 'ah cannae believe how ye's aw seem tae know wan anither yet hauf of ye's huvnae even MET each other!!!'
Mum thoat we werr aw mad, gave her such a different outlook about cyber world as such, and I really think her being there herself made all the difference ...to jist hearin about the GG as opposed to her seeing it with her own eyes.

I guess her first taste of the GG was when Rena {doremi} came to stay with her for the Glasgow Meet, and they got on like a house on fire, meeting everyone in Connecticut at Mags was an extension of that.
Both her an betty hopefully will meet up soon in the toon again....and all this friendship starting off from this site.

The hospitality shown by Mags an Mike and all their family was fantastic, none of it surprising..jist fantastic.

This is such a successful board because members care about each other, whether they've met up or not.
Ye couldnae put a price on that could ye.
Life is good.

Brilliant mags an archie, and martin thanks for bringing back the memory of that day in glasgow . When you look at that one where we are all sitting in the scotia bar who'd have thought that was the first time we had seen one another. And at that point we were toastin "The Bard" who had generously sent £100 for the kitty . If you're lookin in Ed "Hi" we are all missing you on the gg. Great stuff Great people and many happy memories
