My Uncle Charlie Smith (born 1907) married Agnes Caldwell Smith Allardyce in the Co-operative Hall, 280 Main Street, Rutherglen on 17 Nov 1933. Witnesses were his brother William Winning Smith, traveling from Northern Ireland, and Agnes' sister, Jane Allardyce.

At the time of their wedding, Agnes and her sister were living with their parents at 31 Cambuslang Road, Rutherglen. She was a French Polisher and he was a Ship's butcher.

After their wedding they lived in Rutherglen.

The family lost touch. I am looking for any living relatives of Agnes or Charlie, or from people who knew them.

Charlie and his brother had two sisters - Anne John Wilson Smith (Annie), born 1909, who married Bert McCarrol - and Isabella Brash Smith (Isa), born 1911, who married James McGowan. All the Smith children were born in Rutherglen.
