It's a pity Marion did not let us on the Board know she was visiting Glasgow as I have met her a few times and would have liked to have met up with her again.

I want to thank you all so very much for the support of our friend Marion

Marion did make it to Glasgow, but only made one meeting with Forum friends. She over extended herself and had to cancel the rest. Marion is home safe and sound but exhausted. Our wonderful friend wanted to do so much that she just had to cancel.more than she was capable of. She just could not do all she wanted to. I would have loved the opportunity to meet this wonderful wee weegie wummin. Have only spoken to her on the phone, she is AMAZING

Ria, I know I've told this story often on the boards but Marion gave me the best laugh of my life one night on here. I don't know if you remember but it was when we first got the old chat room. Marion kept losing her connection to the chat room and was saying that she was lost in cyber space. The comments were hysterical. Can't tell you just how hard I was laughing here, my girls thought I'd completely lost the plot. Marion can be so funny. Marion is indeed amazing Beth. Again, my thoughts are with her.

Like all of you I have the utmost admiration for Marion and wish her well for the coming week in hospice. Bob and her family have been amazing too but watching someone you love deteriorate so much can be devastating. Bob needs a wee bit of a rest. When I read his FB note my heart was sore for him. I was just wondering if anyone had any news about Marion?.It's been ages since we had any news .

No posts from Bob for a while last I heard marion was just hanging in there. very hard time for the family as I gather Marion doesn't know too much of what is going on

I talked with Marion on Friday and I did post about her condition, anyway she is hanging in and getting a lot of phone calls she also thanks you all for prayers and best wishes.

Marion's husband Bob, just posted this on Facebook along with a photo of her at her granddaughter's birthday party on Thursday.

Hi everybody this is Bob just popping in to up-date you all.Marion had five treatments of radiation for a large painful tumor on her neck they hope that it will shrink the tumor and reduce the pain ,it will be approx. two weeks till we know how well it is working.She has not been using nearly as much liquid morphine instead she is being given morphine by suppository, ( guess who's job that is), anyway she is not quite so doped up with this pain control, that is why Beth thought she sounded good ,she was making sense !! Haydan is posting a couple of collages that came from Eddie ,he is the friend we stayed with so all you folks that were at the Counting House should enjoy these.
