I was born 19 april 1975 in Preston, I was told I was called Angelia, I was adopted by wonderful loving parents as a baby and my name was changed to Amanda. I have a curiosity how ever about where I came from and my roots. I believe my birth mother was called June Mcullough she was about 17 - 18yrs old when she had me, red hair, blue eyes and I am led to believe she had scottish roots in the Glasgow area, her parents were from the area possibly, but im guessing she was in the Preston area as that is where I was born, my birth father was called Barry ( i have no more info on him) ...maybe someone remembers a young june and barry..... shot in the dark I know... if anyone has any helpful info i would really appreciate it these are all the details I have from a a social workers letter, just thought I would put the names out there in case someone is looking for me. The spelling of Mcullough may be wrong although this is how i have it on a letter. If anyone knows anything or has a family tree with a june mcullough or any info on the family name I would be interested
