Looking for siblings/family of my father William Winning Smith born 1914 in Rutherglen. His mother was Janet Winning Smith died 1914 Rutherglen, daughter of Anne, nee Wilson, died 1916 Rutherglen. His father was John Smith of Rutherglen. His sister Anne Smith married Bert McCarrol and in 1948 they lived on Greenhill Road, Rutherglen; they had children James, John (b. 1943) and Matti. His sister Isabella Brash Smith married James McGowan. His brother Charles Smith, a butcher, may have served in the marine or navy during WWII. There is also a connection with a Matt Brownlee.
