Saturday afternoon jazz band went down a storm in the 80s.

Thanks bearsdenflyer, I didn't go in during the afternoon, however, I did used to go in the eighties at night during the weekends. I loved the place – it had a great atmosphere and people were, generally, out to have a good time and enjoy themselves. As I remember it, the pub had two bars, one of which was on a raised level?

Where were the jazz band situated when they played? Can you remember?

I took a photo of the outside of the long-closed pub in in 2004, shortly before the the space behind was to be refurbished. Only the sign was left!
