does anyone remember irish paddy who used to visit various areas of glasgow and do his thing,having bricks smashed with a sledge hammer on his chest to being tied up in a patchsheet bag then chained and swords put through the bag i never saw him get out as the polis would always pitch up and break it up, he was glasgows own houdini. smash and grab

Aye-I remember a guy doing the backcourts in Couper st in Townhead doing thae stunts!- Used to get all sorts of turns appearing in the backcourt-singers especially-maistly auld dossers trying to get a coupla bob for a swally but occasionally there would be a guid yin!(
