Hi everyone

i started researching my family tree last year.

i have hit a road block.....

i would love to find any living relatives of my grandmother, as i know virtually nothing about her family i.e, brothers and sisters.

Mygrandmother and her siblings were brought up in elliott street anderson

my grandmother was

HELEN S C KERR 1913-1957

her mother and father were
ARCHIBALD MCVICAR KERR - 1881 - 1947
ANNIE COPELAND - 1886 - 1965

she had 5brothers and 2 sisters, they are as follows;

CHRISTINA KERR - 1917 - 2004
christina married william walker and had two children, gordon walker and william walker.

JESSIE ANN KERR - 1918 - 1930
jessie died at a young age from meningitis

ARCHIBALD MCVICAR KERR - 1920-1991
archibald married isabella brace stephens and i know he has a son called edward kerr

JAMES COPELAND KERR - 1920-1974
james married helen lennox edwards, and he has a sons called james copeland kerr,
charles edward kerr and archibald kerr.

WILLIAM GRAY DE BOUGH KERR - 1921-1953
william died in an acccident at govan shipyards.

DONALD KERR - 1922 - ?
donald married mary hannah thomas mcdonald in 1949 and as far as i know had a son called william gray de bough kerr.

ALLAN COPELAND KERR - 1909 -1967
dont know if alan had any children or a wife.

I REALLY HOPE THERE ARE KERRS OUT THERE, WHO READ THIS AND GET IN CONTACT AS I REALLY WOULD LOVE TO GET TO KNOW MORE ABOUT MY GRANDMOTHERS FAMILY.

I knew an ann Kerr fromkirkland st who married charles duffy from springbank st around 1963

You have the right bloodline there.

I too have the Kerr background. My grandad James Kerr married Annie Farqhaur Kerr (born 1908) and they had 8 children - James Kerr, Alfred Kerr, George Kerr, Ian Kerr, Williams Kerr, Margaret Kerr (married William Mackay and they had 4 kids - Linda, Evonne Alan Samual), Anne Kerr ( married Robert Leighton they moved overseas to America) and Mary Kerr (married - Joseph Parkinson they had 3 children, Carole, Joe and Aileen) all living in Australia.
I would like to also find out more about my family tree but don't really know where to start.

HI, l know a lot about the kerr's selishly this side a kerr's ,its very havely dok mentid ,in the public darman. as l am in the mid of no way ,l dont have the info in frunt of me!but l can gid u where u cant find the info goglie the kerr family tree in ,there are fosxs of bifrnt pust of the the kerr family tree of the tom's kerr ,the marrgs(they think he was marrd 3 time's? .and the are the ring's of the kerr site,this gose in depths of the kerr's ,and where they where bered (there graiv's ston's) there are lot's of doments of the side that u are look of ,but my kerr lilly for bridgeton.l carnt find, but the srach gose on! yes in it a mide feld ,l wish her side was havly docmentid ! eney way go luk ,if u need to have help on were to find info on geting more on the pulic daman stuf l can gide u .lea

thank you for that photo ,god he " looks" like my ucol, pat duffy, were was he thomas kerr (liveing) if u knew he him ,wen was he born? what age? l have a jug photo of 3 thomas kerr's ,trast 2 of tham ,but havnt come a cross this one , it is so cany what he looks like my son as well,WO.
