Hi everyone.....i've been absent again for a while researching my dad's history & tonight i've just found my uncle's birth certificate on a site, from 1936.

What i would like to know......is there anyone within GG who has any knowledge of the history of Morton FC & it's players????

My uncle's middle name was Jannetts...& when i googled the name, it came up with Greenock Morton FC & a Kenny Jannetts. Straight away i made a connection with the football club, because that was my dad's 'team' so, it would possibly follow that his brother might be named after a footballer in the team but Kenny Jannetts is after his time.

Anyone have any ideas????
Many thanks xx rolleyes.gif

The current Social Convenor of Morton supporters Club is a Kenny Jannetts. He may be a relation. In any event he will be well-placed to do some historical digging.

Good luck.
