Hey, you watch it, I watched the first run of Coronation St episodes with my grandma on Monday and Friday nights starting in December 1961. My grandma was totally against the idea of getting a television set but it was amazing to watch her get caught up with the characters, especially Ena Sharples. She really looked forward to each episode. I can't say I have been a regular watcher since then but I have dipped in and out over the years.
With all the hype about this weeks episodes I thought it was time to tune in again. So far I think it has gone really well, the explosion and crash sequence was pretty convincing although the bit with the train/tram heading for the camera made it look like a toy (which I suppose it was

). So far the blackmailing teacher has been murdered and it looks like Sunita was brought back into the show to be killed off. Only another two to go, ach they know how to cheer us up at Christmas
