I would like to contact or have news of May Keelan who grew up in a tenement on Parliamentary Road. I can not remember the exact address. May would have been around eighteen when she married her childhood sweetheart who had grown up in the same close before joining the army Shortly after they were married, she joined him in Gibraltar where he was stationed. This would have been between 11945-1948.

If she had a brother who would be around 68/69 and was a lovely singer who attended St Mungo;s Primary in Glebe St, I may be able to help.

Hugo, sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your post. Just found it tonight as I haven't been on the boards for months. May might have had a younger brother but I know nothing of her chilhood. We met when we both worked at Frazers. May was a hostess in the tearoom. We lost touch when she went abroad. I don't know if she sang but she was a lovely looking young woman, tall, slender and dark haired with big brown eyes. Thank you so much for trying to help.
