Hi
This is just to let everyone on the site know that my sister found her adopted daughter after 45 years through this web site her daughter could not find her but she had her birth certificate with the address of our family on it and one day she just typed in the address on google and it directed her to me on this site she then sent me a pm asking me for info on my sister ect. and it has all came to a very happy ending with my sister being reunited with her daughter.
thanks again glasgow guide

Great news, Edwardo.
I came onto this site, knowing nothin' about it, in the hope that some member or other might have heard of my birth mother; an 18 year old girl in war-torn Glasgow.
I struck out but it fills me with pleasure each time I read of someone striking lucky on here which shows that however much against the odds it does happen and it happens here enough times.
Great site and great members.

ps. Anyone know of an 85 year old Sarah Someone nee Hamilton Reid originally from Milton? biggrin.gif (worth a try again tongue.gif )

Good luck mate, ye never know? Being a spiritualist, I will send out that thought in the hope that it bears fruit.

Im a sort of exiled orphan, the one thing is my Father, 28 years ago we parted company, I have never seen or heard of him since, I believe he is dead or passed on to put it spiritually., but no official record.

Im a Hamilton, from the South, but born in the North.
