A set of photos taken by the Hubble space telescope in 2002 and 2003 show the most detailed look at the former planet Pluto. The photos show an icy and dark molasses colored surface that changes with the seasons. NASA says the dwarf planet is so small and far away from Earth that it's like trying to examine details in a soccer ball 40 miles away. These will be the best images available of Pluto until 6 months before the New Horizons spacecraft flies by the dwarf planet in 2015. Credit: NASA, ESA, and M. Buie (Southwest Research Institute)

.......some of you might have to stay there until i can arrange another flight back!!!!
p.s. they would make great 'eyes' for fishing lures........i need some in 3/4" if anyone knows where to get them???? Doesn't matter if they are bigger.

Those are great pictures!! I think i was looking at the moon that night when i was at work....it looked so wonderful & i wished i'd taken my camera to work with me! (Another photo opportunity passed me by!!) It was so low as well.....just like you could reach up & touch it.
p.s. your doggie looks like my little Ruby that i had for a while. She was a Norfolk Terrier.
