I cant post just now , because of an infraction of rule 1. Rule 1 is quite right really from my point of view. Purely for myself I will abide by rule 1, apart from this post.

A fair result at Ibrox today, but if Hertz had won it would also be fair. Now I get a chance for a look at the tic on telly later, In all honesty, with a drink , I cant see the tic getting anything other than 3 points, challenging Motherwell.

Rangers badly need a centre hoff..... I was at Ibrox and things don't look very clever right now. Ortiz played out on the left wing and he is not a left winger.

Help is needed and quickly !

Prettty poor first half at Easter Road imo. Very few goalmouth incidents and although Stokes took the goal well the hibs goalie made a bad mistake. Cheers

I am happy to get the 3 points, but felt it was not a great game. Some good stuff in patches for Celtic , lots of endeavour from the young Hibs players , some strange decisions by the officials on both sides I must add. Still a lot of work to be done by Lennon..

Hearts could have by a long shot had this game buried in the first half.
In my opinion, not a great game by all means.
A draw was a fair result.
But are Hearts a serious threat to Celtic or Rangers?

I thought Hearts wer not too bad, and could mount some sort of challenge but ultimatley it will be between Rangers and Celtic again. Rangers were pretty poor in parts which helped Hearts but The Gers have never been noted as good starters so not overly surprised at the result. Hearts better first half and Rangers the second. Ortiz was more successful when he tried t come inside the fullback as when he wentourside the full-back mopped up pretty easily. Edu is still a problem and Broadfoot was, well just Broadfoot. However, good day out in the sun and our traditional first day of season swally was well-attended and great fun. Thank God the fitba is back! smile.gif

PS : Webster replaced after 6 minutes! rolleyes.gif

I thought that the Hibs game was quite good.
They sure have done a good job at Easter road, the ground looks great, all they need now is some decent players, then again can they hold on to them?

Is Lennon having a laugh here?
He reckons he is in no rush to MANAGE in England's TOP flight as he feels the EPL cannot match the excitement and energy of being Celtic's boss.
What excitement? laugh.gif
Also what team in the EPL would have him?

I watched the Hearts at Ibrox yesterday and I watched the Hibs on ESPN today........ and in my honest opinion they both looked to have improved from last season. Yes, it is only one game but I believe both played very well in their respective matches. I am sure both sets of fans of the Edinburgh clubs will have a good sense of hope for this season.

Of both clubs, I thought the Hibs left back, the kid called Booth, was the best player on display.

Rangers were the least impressive of the four clubs involved in the Glasgow/Edinburgh duels. Rangers gave a lesser performance than was expected, Celtic gave what was expected and both Hibs and Hearts performed better than was expected. And both results went the way they should have.

There wont be too many weekends when there is this little dispute from the outcomes. Although in saying that I thought both the refs involved were crap !!

I sure do hope my team buy a decent centre half real bleedin fast.

As expected. I wasnt exactly rivoted to my seat with celtics allround performance, two first class goals though.

Now we have a ridiculous situation where Celtic dont play next weekend due to commitments elsewere, and the following weekend Rangers dont play for the same reason.

I would like to be a fly on the wall at an SPL management meeting.

I see that the Boogie man might be on his way to Qatar for 2.6 million pounds, Rangers will get an even better defender ,Doriin Golan.
Also what about the mouth Lennon at it again.
I also notice the same old posters complaining about the referees again. rolleyes.gif
