It is rumoured that there was a female Pope about a thousand years ago (Pope Joan) I believe she was said to have been. It's only a rumour but if it is true I wonder how they felt when they found out she wasn't a man and got rid of her. You know that when one Pope dies another one Pope's up

Perhaps this particular Pope was from the Calton and it was the way his mammy called him that confused the historians at the Vatican?
