Well your "Nationalist Politics" has caused this impasse Kem, so what is your solution and why should the SNP disregard their raison d'Ítre when you British nationalists can't even agree on what you want?

I think you mean Unionist politics has caused this impasse. Nationalist politics would have led us out long ago.

Let's hope there's a vote on the deal and the mess the politicians (SNP included) have made of it is reflected in the result.

The majority of MPs (SNP included) are not Nationalist, Jagz, hence the impasse.

We haven't left yet biggrin.gif biggrin.gif because MPs (SNP included) have voted down every proposed deal.

Where did the “every” bit come into it. There has only been one deal, rehashed to accommodate the greedy, self serving and elitist politicians of the current Westminster government and their allies.

I refer to the series of indicative votes that failed to produce a cross-party agreement, once we knew that the May/Juncker deal wouldn't pass.

I would have thought that as a fellow Remainer, Ash, you would be glad of the delay?

Yes I remain a remainer but the delay is nothing to be pleased about.

The decision to leave was taken on the back of mountains of misinformation and electorial manipulation. It has been followed the most devious skullduggery ever witnessed in the corridors of power with various factions and individuals, back stabbing or trampling over colleagues whilst vying for power. How much money has been wasted in the process and how much has it already cost us, as consumers, in increased prices?

Let's be clear about this, any reputation and integrity that the UK still had, has been damaged by this farce.

I have a sneaky feeling Nige will see a huge hike in the votes his Brexit party garners.

If his party do make any "hike" in Scotland it will be at the expense of the Tories and Labour.

From Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream)

"Nigel Farage is†selling a delusional dream, which is that if we leave the EU everything’s going to be fine. It’s not going to be fine except for his cronies who will run the pound, invest and destroy companies then completely deregulate the whole United Kingdom. Environmental and worker’s rights will be thrown out the window. That’s what hard Brexit is all about. It’s about finishing the Thatcher revolution."

The election result will have a big impact one way or the other on the People's Vote campaign.
