Hi Margie, it was Lambhill Engineering where I met John 1973, I cant remember my dad talking about him, by that time my dad had passed on, so John was my dads cousin, I must check with my nephew to see how many kids my Great Grand parents had. My nephew was given an old photo, two men two ladies and a baby, spotted my gran and grandad right away, had to ask who the older folk were turns out it was my Grandads parents who would have been Johns Grandparents, the baby??? my father, what a find

Bye for now, norrie

Hi Norrie They are uncle John,s 2 daughters Mary and Joan, You worked with him in Flemings if I remember right. I,v tried to explain to them who you are but they don,t remember you. He had 3 boys and 3 girls all very much alive thank goodness. The family home was in Ashgill RD. One of the girls (Jaqueline) still lives there. cheers Margie.

Hi Ashfield, They are building everywhere now. Soon be no farm land left. I,v lived here 50 years now and had a great outlook at the back of my house to the campsie hills ,now calla homes have bought the land right behind my home and are building town houses here soon. The folk here objected but lost so the building work will go on. No more deer at the bottom of my garden, so disappointed. cheers Margie.
