I felt a bit sorry for the players, they did not look comfortable with the system at all. Scotland have rarely had the players with sufficient skill and experience to play the passing game that this formation required. Too many balls were humped into the opposition half with no Scotland player within 30 yards of it. If there's a chance of a result against Spain, Levine will have to find a way of sneaking 15 players on the park (and even then I am not sure of getting a draw). Where's pumps100 when you need him, anybody know the odds on 3-0 Spain?

Sorry lads, but I watched a brilliant defensive game last night played out by Germany ... Attack being the best method of defence of course.
Germany 3 Turkey 0.
I'm not sure if I'm masochistic enough to watch Spain v Scotland but If Bilbo's watching it then I suppose I must cheer the Scots on. wink.gif
Nice gear Bill ... is that your neutral stuff? rolleyes.gif

May watch it at home but certainly not in my local. I have watched three games so far and I would be mortified to watch such crap in public. The managers just go from bad to worse.

Aye, the Scottish management must have must have held a meeting with W Smith, as that is his way of playing the game. rolleyes.gif

Go on irrie, you know you want to. Who knows what could happen? The worst that can happen is you will see the current world and euro champions giving a display of scintillating fitba. It will make a refreshing change in Scotland. smile.gif

Is it me chums or is Levein taken the piss oota the tartan army, efter three gemes agin what must just aboot be the three weakest teams in world fitbaw.efter three gemes in which 9 bluddy points were going a begging we hiv the grand total o 4 .

Fer why ye ask cos this clown masquerade'n as a fitbaw manager chose tae engage in trench warfare like the classroom wimp scared o his ane shadow.

All o a sudden he's rocky, whit we are gonna dae tae these Spaniards the night is naebuddy's bizznizzzz, were gonna make Drake's thrashin o them in the far distant past seem like a skelp on the wrist .

Jasus tae me it seems the gink's in meltdoon the enormity o the job has hit him atween the eye's,.. ''like 99.9
% o the tartan army wid luv tae dae '' laugh.gif there canny be any other explanation for the Ertha Kitt he has come awie wie in the last 48 hours..

P.s see some o you hiv bin haven a go at the jags a wee team dear tae this auld guys heart ,fer three or four year i used tae go an support them back in the 70's alang wie a fellow butcher who was a die hard jags man when celtic were awie too far fer me tae get tae or if the tic wurnae playing
was at the big turnup when they took us tae the cleaners then o course i was shouting fer the tic and at hauf time i lost a pretty penny tae my jags mate cos i put money on them tae over turn the odds in the second hauf ,still if we had tae lose then the jags softenend the blow ,my bet ach he asked me tae help him drink it in celebration o the jags victory ,man those were the days biggrin.gif ,nane o this 442, 4.5.1etc bullls*it whit happened tae the bootifell geme... ,centreback ,striker ,etc fer gods sake talk good broad Scots .

Jasus i tuned in the night fer a quick look first hauf played aff the park.

Eff it ah thought al watch the rest ,whit a turn roon me first an foremost am a patriot weel bein a scoundrel like some smart ass wance said wid be my last refuge.

Man o man it wis magic 2 doon an then Naismith'ss goal hid made at ibrox stamped o ower it ,great delivery fae Miller and sublime finish fae Naismith .

Then Scottish pressure leads tae a boob and an own goal ffs by this time ahm goin ballistic kin we kill them aff alas it wisnae tae be ,Spain get another wan ,but see the scorer mops his brow i think in tribute tae oor fightin spirit..

Man o the match the superb Alan Mcgregor ye canny help yer wicked wies son its in yer genes you Mcgregors are the bandits o Scotland whit wis the auld slogan ''Tae the hills Mcgreegor '' laugh.gif you did weel son think there's gonna be a big money deal fer you in the future .

Noo tae that bluddy imposter Levein if i wis yer boss i'd fire you the morra morning ,you and you alone are guilty tae a lack o faith in yer squad and yer negative bluddy tactics have held these young lions on a leash that i think will prove tae be a rock on which wance agin oor chances tae go forard will perish on ,shame on you. mad.gif
