we took citizenship only because when we went back to the UK we had to go to a lot of bother to prove we had every right to re-enter Australia,at one stage we were stranded in Scotland and our kids at home in Australia,so it wasn`t a hard decision to make, and we have dual citizenship, which is painless. What is the relevance of this anyway Carmella,...just askin`

Well this wee wumin will still say naw!

I wonder what proportion of people who left Scotland for pastures new took citizenship of their new country. Would be interesting to know.

I did Carmella, South Africa has been extremely good to me and I always believed that if you want to praise or complain about a government you have to be a citizen and pay you taxes. It is also the reason that I do not get involved often with the Brexit/ Independence discussions.

Do you still think Scotland will be better served by Boris and Co than people who actually live here and care about Scotland Carmella? unsure.gif

Anyway, back on topic: In the event of a new Referendum, I've a nonpolitical, nonsectarian slogan ...

All those in favour of NO say YES clap.gif

Thankfully most who did say NO in 2014 are now saying YES yes.gif

I was just about to post that Danny Boy has even more resignation threats than Mundell. Can't anybody keep a promise these days?

Comparing Danny with Fluffy is way too far laugh.gif

Yes Danny, the readers letters in the Daily Mail and Daily Express will have readers who'll agree with every word you say.

How many times is this you've left now?

Frank Sinatra never done the amount of farewells you have. laugh.gif
