Sorry Guys, not sure where to put this to get forum user DMG's attention, I think he has not realised that there is a NEW PM"S button on the top right of the screen., we are busy tracing his family from Kelvinhaugh days, but he appears not to be reading my PM"s to him. His email is also not available on his profile, so if anyone knows or sees DMG (Danny) , please let him check his PM's

Cheers

Morty

Hi Danny,

My email adress is michael(put an at sign here)oranjemundonline.com

My dad is very excited about your quest to find your family members. He is coming around to my house at lunch time today. I will plonk him in front of the PC and educate him. He is rabbiting on about all kinds of McGee's , Mari that came from Corsica.... just too much for me to remember. He has an aunt in Glasgow that lived in the same close and is about 7 years older than him and remembers your family. He should have been in contact with her last night. So let's see what comes of that. otherwise in a few hours I will let my dad dictate and we will send you all that he remembers...

cheers

Mike

Hi Danny, My Dad is sitting with me now.... showed him your posts, he is racking his brains and has come up with the following,

The McGhies ( he recollects the surname spelling as this), at 210 Kelvinhaugh St Lived on the 1st Floor next door to my Granny Alexander. The ones I remember were Danny, Tiny,Bobby and mary. I can't remember Tiny's Real Name. Bobby was married to Ina and Moved to the top Flat next to where I Lived with my Parents. They had two sons, John & Robert. Mary Married Gerald McGee (Not from The Haugh) and moved to 206 Kelvinhaugh Str. They had a son called John and a daughter, Mamie. One of the McGee Sons married a Sicillian or an Italian girl called Maria. I am trying to contact an Aunt of Mine, Jeanna who lived on the 1st Floor and will probably know all the stories.

Regrds
Jack Alexander from "The Haugh"
