I was on holiday with 3 friends and we started talking about Energen rolls. We then remembered Puff Cracknells but couldn't remember the name. Our memories of these biscuits:- It was like cutting through polystyrene and they were squeaky on the teeth. I think they formed part of a calorie controlled diet but lots of butter and jam, made them taste better. The name just came into one of my friends memories about 2 weeks after our holiday.

Tesco have Jacobs Butter Puffs which I think might be the same or similar.

These Energen rolls were nice with wedges of cheese on them but that defeated their whole purpose!
