Life is on hold, even political debates like this one,

Yes Kem, is that why you've been working yourself up into a frenzy posting about the Salmond trial? yes.gif

Jagz, when did this website become a ticket holders only venue? How about growing up.

Danny

What are you talking about?

"Growing up", oh the irony. laugh.gif

Yes, you and Kem are always chanting that same mantra, yet here you are again on the Independence thread, you and your shadow just can't keep away.

Bilbo, I think it is possible that Brexit and Scotland’s Independence are not high on the list of issues that people are concerned with at this moment in time.

Is that it, no explanation?

It's alright to be scared. A lot of us are. I am. For good reason.

The science is telling us how dangerous this new virus is, and you're right to say that worse is yet to come. We're in this together. Our Governments are uniting. The country is battening down the hatches. It sounds like we'll be living with this for the rest of the year, or until a vaccine is ready (hopefully before next Winter).

I'm lucky, my job is secure, but millions are now going to be reliant upon the new employment resilience fund announced today (up to 2,500 pcm) by the UK Government, until the affected sectors reopen their doors. And as you correctly envisage, earlier today sadly the first hospital reported a shortage of critical care provision, as the national death rate from Covid 19 is unsurprisingly increasing exponentially.

Life is on hold, even political debates like this one, everywhere this virus strikes. There can be no distractions, when so many lives are at risk. See you on the Corona thread, Jagz, my good adversary. smile.gif
