Sumac, when you think about it, horses `apples' are whats left after the horse's digestive system has extracted what it requires from the, mostly, hay and grass on which the horse feeds. Granted there will be `pony pecils' in among that food intake and the odd bit of crusty bread or carrot but what what is ejected at the other end is, unlike doggie poo, very easily bio-degraded and/or scattered in the wind.
Great for gardens too; roses, vegetables etc.
The only time I saw poo-bags and shovels being used was with the rag-men used to come around blowin' their trumpets shouting DELFFURRARAGS from the driver's seats of their horse and carts ... and when I spent the summer season on the Isle of Man as a young lad cookin' up a storm in '64 and gettin' to know all the horses which pulled the trams as a friend of Belle Caine's man who was their blacksmith and carer in those days. biggrin.gif

If we're talkin' about the same Dylan he's doing great - apart from gettin' the odd `red card' for terrorising delivery guys (but never the popst-lady biggrin.gif )
I used to watch those Isle of Man cuddies get a bottle of Guinness poured down their throats every day: maybe that enriched the texture of their `apples' which in turn improved the quality of garden products.

Mary, shall I tell Ken we missedf him this year?
Ja, why not?
OK, Schatze

Ken, we missed you this year laugh.gif
