Mcmeekin Options

Hello,
I'm hoping that some of my McMeekin relatives are on this forum (or do a web search in the near future and find this post).

My Grandmother, Margaret Cameron McMeekin, born in Maryhill, Lanark(shire), Scotland. She was one of several children born to Hugh Crawford McMeekin and Dinah Todd:
Robert Todd, 11 Jul 1881, Maryhill;
Ann Jane Irvine, 18 Jan 1887, Maryhill;
John, 29 May 1891, Maryhill;
Margaret Cameron, 11 May 1893, Maryhill (Died 29 Jul 1970;
Hugh, 16 Jun 1898, Maryhill;
Thomas, 7 Jan 1896, Maryhill;
and possibly two other daughters, Maria and Barbara Ann?

Ann married James Tumelty; John married Euphemia Moir, and had at least two children, Helen and Hugh; Hugh (1898) married Elizabeth Bolton Carr and had at least two children, John and Maria. My Grandmother, Margaret Cameron McMeekin married William Henry Stallard and had four children; Dinah Todd, Ivy (who died in India as a child), my father, also William Henry and Edna. The family spent some time in Glasgow after being evacuated at the start of the war and my Dad was good friends with cousin John McMeekin.

Hugh Crawford McMeekin and Dinah Todd were married in Scotland around 1880. She was born exactly 100 years before me on 16th April 1861 in Dalry, Ayr, Scotland of Irish parents, Robert Todd, 1822-1879, and Anne Jane Irvine, 1820-1885, both of Ballyeaston.
Hugh was born 12 October 1854, in Cogry (variously spelt Coggry, Cogrey, Cogery, Coggery, and now as Coggrey), Ballyclare, East Antrim (or Grange of Doagh, Upper Antrim)!

It would be great to hear from any McMeekin relatives of Helen, Hugh, John or Maria - I have lots of family questions!

Hello Jim, my Grandmother Catherine was the daughter of Hugh Mcmeekin and Elizabeth Bolton Carr. She sadly passed away two weeks ago. In an effort to remain close to her, I wanted to try and trace the McMeekin family tree and stumbled upon this post in my web search.
