Thumbing through the site, it seems a shame that the Good Shepherd does not get a mention.
I was christened at the chapel, was forced to be an alterboy & took the odd hit around the head from the rather angry priest (he did not allow anything other than complete concentration during Mass) Sometimes I rang the bell at the wrong time or didn't bother at the right time, much to the amusement of the congregation (usually about 4 pensioners) I also specialised in funerals and the odd wedding!
Went all the way through school there, and was in love with Miss Gallacher (year 6) or was it 7? I enjoyed myself and had some great pals and potential girlfriends (in ma dreams)
I attended from 1964-71(ish)
Anyone else go there or was it all a bad dream?
