wub.gif We had just been married 2 years and it was our first visit to London . We were staying with my new wifes cousin in Hampstead in London.

But she treated us like a couple of little children ,always telling us what to do. where to go and always to be extra careful. So we decided to rebel .

We knew there was some sort of carnival on Hampstead Heath, so we lied to her cousin ,telling her we were going to see a movie .But instead ,we made our way accross the Heath,

We had a wonderful time at ther carnival but as we began to make our way home ,darkness suddenly descended ,leaving us completely lost.

We were in a pure panic . We had lied .and now we were lost .

Someone came accross us and took pity on us and rang 999 for the Fire Brigade , telling them threre were 2 lost kids in the middle of Hampstead Heath .

When the Fire Brigade turned up they had a real good laugh and escorted us like 2 lost children back to her cousins house .

What made it worse is that we were both 26 years of age and yet we thought we were city wise and street wise by being from Glasgow .

ah try ma best
