I remember when this first opened in Argyle st.. was just a wee shop that sold rubbish to be honest but had a hairdressers downstairs.. my pal and I went for cut and sets with a special bus ticket with the name of the shop on it, meant you got your cut and set cheaper.. A few years later it developed a bit more and got a bit better with stock, then opened one across the road in the 70s, was good for a while with bargains then all fell away, I mind it mobbed before Xmas..

I remember there was What Every Man Wants and I'm sure What Every Kid wants. For a short while I lived above WEWW and hated it - lots of pros and junkies sleeping in the close!
