helllo im looking for a james thomson who hung about glasgow late sixties early seventies.places i know he freqented were cromdale st,tomore st drumoyne,govan,ibrox,paisley road west,renee ewing..cheers any info would be brilliant cheers james.

I was friends and still am with a Jimmy thomson , he is from Govan but worked in the Kinning park area, Jimmy is 67 and played football for a number of teams all over Glasgow, Jimmy is well over 6 feet tall, and a perfect gentleman.sound like the same one

hi James. i was brought up in drumoyne and knew govan very well but i'm sorry but i dont offhand know the name but bear in mind that drumoyne is fairly big and spread out as is govan. you could really do with narrowing the search down a bit. Have you tried trolling through the "districts" section of this forum to see if that turns anything up ? All the best .....cheers

James Thomson.
I knew a James Thomson from Govan. You might want to try the
"Sunny Govan" website, and you could also mention Renee, his wife.
So many of these people emigrated in the 60's, so he could be anywhere in the world now.

Another place to try is the Govan High School website.
Jim Thomson hung around with the Drumoyne crowd....if this is the same J.T.

ive tried sunny govan and they helped me brilliantly i actually tracked down somebody else i was looking for on there but still no james thomson.ive got limited information about james/jim thomson it could be well the person im looking for could you let me know more info on him years would be sixties and early 1970s
