I thought since we're here at the weekend, and with so much seriosity going around, that I'd start a wee thread on what you think - regardless of the country you live in, are the funniest (often better than some of the programmes) tv ads you've seen recently.

I have several that I just love when they come on.

First one - what gets me about this one is the nervous swallow of the cat - just as you and I would be in his circumstances I'm sure - don't know how they did it - but it's terrific.

With this next one - you just have to know what happened next - and we can all imagine I'm sure.

One of my favourites - poor wee thing.

Das Boot

And the Citroen series of ads, to this day still astound me, love them.

I found this one this morning, which I've never seen before, not one we get in the UK but this is so cute, the patience and understanding of the dog here is lovely.

THH I had forgotten about those two - absolutely fantastic ads, the wee mouse one had me in stitches.

I also love (see if I can find it) the 'stupid' ads - they're as camp as can be but so so funny.

Here's another one - the Volkswagon ad, I remember when I first saw this it had me in stitches too so may the FORCE be with you, especially if your dad's just come home from with and takes the remote into the kitchen with him LOL

The OMO advert reminded me of the suburban housewives who put packets of OMO on their window sills during the day as a sign.............(Old Man Out)
