Hi,
I am not sure how to enter a personal avatar to my settings. it gives me the option of entering a URL that begins with HTTP// but the avatar I would like to use is sitting on my desktop. How do I get it from my desktop to my posts. Sorry, feel like a bit of an idiot but then could be just Old Age.
All The Very Best.

The option below that should say 'choose file'. You can upload from there.

as David said you can just upload it to the site.

or if you want to use the http bit then just upload it to tinypics and use the link they give you.

Thanks DavidT and KTV,
I must be missing something or maybe a new pair of glasses. Below the http// window is another box that says Image Scale On and the choice to Update or Remove Avatar, I don`t see any option that says " choose file ". When I began, I want into the " Edit Avatar " window, could I maybe be in the wrong section.

that's what I get using chrome and IE so you might be missing a java update so try and update it.
you can download it from http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

or try it using a different browser

Thought I would let you know I tried two other browsers including Firefox, I downloaded the Java updates as suggested, But no luck. I then tried three other computers thinking it may just be mine but still no option to upload from my computer appeared on the screen. I then tried to download a personal picture from the picture option section, the option to upload a picture was there but received back an error notice when I tried to post it.
Maybe just a glitch but was wondering if anyone in Canada was having the same problems.
