Is that shin or casserole rolleyes.gif

Jupiter, I just got the vision of a TV sketch in my head with John Cleese as the Tesco official. It was so ridiculous laugh.gif . The Braehead incident has started something right enough, there has been a campaign going on suggesting the centre is boycotted. For anyone wondering what the story is about look here

Thanks ashfield, I suppose that will be me in big trouble with Tesco now!

A quite ridiculous situation. Had their security guards asked me not to photograph their bacon, I would have thanked them courteously and made my way directly to the nearest exit without a further word.

GG.

Wee Davy, I was wearing my usual photographing attire: a grey pinstripe suit, bowler hat and bright pink tie; I was also carrying an expensive umbrella. I work on the assumption that people who dress like this can get away with anything!

In case any Tesco security guards read this, here is my good self on a previous mission:

I agree that this sounds like a Monty Python sketch. Lets hope no parrots were harmed in the execution of his duties.

I must admit the temptation to go into Tesco just to write down prices is becoming hard to resist laugh.gif In recent times we have had money off vouchers for the store, 9 off if you spend 60. The only way I could keep track of how much we had accumulated was to write it down (I don't do shopping lists), Mr Tesco must have thought I was harmless.

On two occasions over the last year, my wife has bought items of clothing from Tesco and got home with the security tags still in place. Neither were noticed by either the staff or us and no alarm sounded on the way out. I removed one myself (don't ask rolleyes.gif ) but the material on the other precluded that so it had to go back for them to remove. The assistant said it was happenng all the time huh.gif So much for that then.
