Don`t worry it`s the same here. we go down to Durban in winter and are in shirtsleeves and the locals think your nuts.

We tend to feel the chill when it dips below 20C. I have recently taken to wearing socks again and the semit will be donned next month.

PS: Albuñol is in Granada province, 6Kms from the coast. 2 1/2 hours east of Málaga and 1 hour west of Almería.

We were in Granada 3 weeks ago when our son and his girlfriend were over. We love the place, but no longer visit the Alhambra, as 4 times is enough. It is about 1 hr 45 mins by car. It is much colder there in winter than by the coast, as it is very high. It still warms up once the sun gets going.
We are lucky as we get no snow or frost here.
