Every time I look at scenery like this, I'm so glad I live where I do. If I could do it all over again though, I'd love to live up north, perhaps on an island as I love being close to water and listening to it. I also think you can't beat a good storm - not a life threatening one though. I love this country I think it's beautiful and the weather doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I'm a bit put out that I've never seen any monster or large creature at Loch Ness though. Mind you, in my day, I've chased a few off LOL

I know exactly what you mean Carmella. I am lucky to have a son who lives on Skye with scenery from all his windows to die for. With the shores of LochAlsh right outside his front door I canny wait to get back there.
This is one of them ...

I don't think there is a 'Nessie' but here is my creation which I call 'Nellie'. Powered by electric motor. Gets funny looks from the ducks on our boating lake, but the weans love her! biggrin.gif

Satellite image captures 'monster' swimming in loch

A satellite image is thought to capture the Loch Ness Monster gliding through the water – more than a year since the last sighting.

Fears were starting to grow the mythical creature had died after no one captured images of her in 2013.

Now, satellite pictures which show a creature swimming below the surface of the loch just south of Dores have been found in Apple’s map app. ...
