Many years ago I once refered to the "Forth Road Bridge" in the presence of someone from that neck of the woods and was told very quickly "it is the Forth Birdge!"

After I thought about it, indeed that's exactly what it is, as it is the original bridge - which I love going across, you have to go across it and then return, just for the heck of it.

It's the done thing apparently!

Sorry about digressing.. but carmella reminded me of this :-

Some years ago.. I was having my very first Mobile Phone delivered to me... A Courier was driving all the way up from Cambridge.. just with my wee Mobile Phone..
I kid you not...

Just before leaving his depot... he telephoned me.... and asked..
"Where.. exactly is.. the VILLAGE of Glasgow?"

Anyway... How can it be the FORTH bridge if they are just deciding about building a THIRD one?

Govan side of the Clyde tunnel.(linthouse?)

Thank you Riddrie for the correct answer.

I was in Linthouse yesterday because I wanted to take some snaps of the recently redesigned store fronts. As it was Sunday they were all closed and less attractive with the shutters down so there was nothinng much else to do but take a shot of the Tunnel in the sun.

As for LUV you can catch a glimpse of some of the shops on their website
