My sister lived there in the sixties, in the old tenements but I can't remember which number. Her married name is Wilson. I can ask her if she knows your husband the next time I speak to her. What is his name?

wee mags: the docherty's who lived on Gairbraid Avenue....do you remember if their names were Martin and Elspeth Docherty? Their eldest daughter's name was Elizabeth and then Kevin. They moved to Canada in the late 60's/early 70's.

I am told that both my mother-in-law and father-in-law went to St. Mary's. My mother-in-law's sister, Mary Cannon, who lived on Maryhill Road remembers your name.

If that is looking down towards the Kelvin, which I think it is, then it is 186 Burnhouse St.

I grew up in Collina St. I moved there when I was eleven in 1955.I went to Northkelvinside school. I came to the U.S.A. in 1962, I was in Collina Street last year and it was like a ghost town. Every one of the streets there had about two people living in them, so I guess they are ready for demolition.
