This book was published about 19 years ago. The author writes of the history of tenement living from 1910 to 1945 and is situated in Springburn. Ms. Faley was born in Springburn and left for the United States in her teens. She then took time after graduation to live in Glasgow to study her subject matter to write her the book. It is an enjoyable read. Here's a better description of the title. http://www.whitecockade.co.uk/bookpages/Up%20Oor.html
