yesterday went out for a drive with my sister and ended up in the Mandarin resturant in Burlington and had a terrific meal there and today,
don,t have a clue, might settle for perrogies and whatever, but it,s just to hot to cook.

Stratson your recipe for Dough Balls is the way I make them, although it's a while since I made them. The easy way to remember the recipe was; twice the amount of flour to suet.

I never knew you could get ready mixed dough balls with just the water to add.

Stratson, thanks a million. The next time I am in Glasgow (October), I will pick up some of the packaged ones to try too, as well as the Atora. I think I can bring the Atora back in my suitcase, well I will try anyway. There is nothing remotely similar we can buy here and the suet is just horrible. Hi Jaybee , I might be wrong in assuming this , but isnt Atora made from beef fat?as I say I might be wrong.We cant get it here either.
My brother in law came over to OZ for a visit before we got Hellmans and he sneaked me two jars over inside his shoes, not the ones he was wearing I might add.

aorta is beef suet a had a all breakfast pizza as it had mushrooms sausage bacon tomato cheese very nice but got a druth on noo a canny stop drinking tea ,,,,,,,,,,and am out for dinner the morra night if a can find the hoose that is as it is im my pal,s daughters house so a best have a wee google ,,,oh lydia and my son,s are at their stepsitrers wedding tomorrow she is a police woman marrying a policeman she met in training lydia is a flower girl and my boys are ushers the wedding is in guilford as a think the police get a deal in the hotel down there a hope they have a nice time

Heather , I buy perogies from the freezer section in the store, they are made from a mixture of flour and potatos, with either a bacon or cheese filling and they look like little white turnovers
or if you know what ravioli is, something like them,you boil the perogies for about 4or5 mins.and eat them with fried onions or sour cream, I,ve had them fried on occasion for breakfast.
I,m not sure but I think they maybe a polish dish..

Well as mine are away working in the USA for the weekend there wont be too much cooking going on as its jist for me and Mr Lass oh how lovely it is to have a nice quiet hoose , might not even have dinner just a late lunch consisting of fresh garden salad with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinigar , on my way home I'll pop into the shop and pick up some nice fresh salmon for the bbq ____then some berries, they are wildly delicious at the moment.
I think a can do all of this by about three pm as I have a short work day. Best get a move on eh!
