Jagz, the Glasgow Evening Times doesn’t exist The Glasgow Times does. Nicola Sturgeon writes a weekly column in it

Danny

I stand corrected Danny, i haven't bought it for decades so i couldn't tell you who has a column in it.

Any comment on the NYT piece?

How others see us, an interesting piece from the New York Times that the Glasgow Evening Times would never publish.

Took a walk to my local hairdresser day before yesterday: Mary fgorved my hand, complete with mask as has been mandatory for months here. It's been wash-and-cut for quite a while here but what changed is that we now have to sign-in; name, adress and telephone number in case of tracing.
The Times The Are A-changing right enuff.

That’s a good cover by the New York Times. I think it must be obvious to the rest of the UK that Scotland has handled this virus very well indeed.

We cannot get any flights at the moment so we are staying here. Hope it changes soon I`ve a wedding to go to in Aberdeen in October, although we are not sure if we will still come Never thought I would feel safer staying in Africa than coming to Europe.

Zas hawd your wheesht, Listening to Nicola’s daily brief, Scotland has faired better than the rest of the UK, however, she is erring on the side of caution, and quite rightly in my opinion we won’t be in Phase 4 any time soon. That tells me that it is not too long until October, therefore I reckon you won’t be able to come for the wedding, although I think it would be nice for all concerned if you could.

Let’s face it, health comes first, just send the bride and groom, a humungous check LoL

Gawn yursel, fill yur boots, go to lovely Madikwe instead, in with the other animals you’re bound to come across some of the lesser known Glasgow Bulletin Board spotted hyena (Crocuta crocuta) which like most of its members, has the strongest jaws in the animal kingdom, and shouts the loudest.

Oh would I not love to be a flee hiding in the bushes for that! laugh.gif
