lennox was it you that asked me about tony burton if so he was in the first vertion of assault on precint 13 and he was in one of the rocky movies a big huge fella black guy it was either 1 2 or 3 he was in soory off topic

hi i went to fornethy in 1986 i rember everything about that house it was scary place. i have alot of dreams about it i remeber climbing that knock a formal and singing those stupid songs. i remeber the drawings on the wall that miss lennon and miss reid done. i have been in touch with 1 of the teachers that worked there in 1986 miss reid through friends reunited she told me that fornethy was sold to some company that trained boys and girls sports. and that the owner of the house mrs fletcher retired.

i went to castle towards in 1963,hated the first week didnae want tae come back by the last week made lots of friends ,tho never kept in touch.remember one boy put sugar on his porridge,tried it didnt like it ,but was made to eat it or i'de get it for supper.(also remember getting bags of clothes) it was just a way of life then ,bye

smile.gif Hi and new to this but saw all the chat on Fornethy Residential School and had to drop in.... I went there in 1979 & 1981. It is located up past Alyth near middleton farm on the B954, for those searching for it I re-visited it the other day and got some pic's (posted one for youz), It hasn't been used in Years and is slowly falling apart... great hearing your stories...

Petalpeeps I went to Castle Toward too and it was the most awful place I broke my arm in the shower and went home after 1 week thanks god!!!!! an experience never to be repeated
