There you go, not only would Jagz just give away all of the oil in Scotlands EEZ to rUK in the hope of securing independence but he would also hand over our defenses to a foreign body just to satisfy that itching chip. I honestly dont even know why he bothers with the EU, why not just sign up to Putins propaganda like Alex Salmond has.
As for the Russian ships being in the Moray firth, only 12 miles are actually territorial waters, outside that they are International waters even if they fall within our EEZ. If you can provide real proof of this 'invasion' into our waters and non intervention by the Royal Navy then that would be great thumbup.gif

As far as i'm concerned we did hand over our defences to a foreign power who have shown little regard for Scotland and her defence.

If i have an "itching chip" it pales into insignificance compared to the huge boulder you have on your shoulder.

Can you give some proof to "sign up to Putins propaganda like Alex Salmond has" or is it a blatant lie?

Now John, who mentioned anything about an "invasion"?

Stop putting word in my mouth, you really aren't doing yourself any favours.

Perhaps if you kept up with current affairs over the years i wouldn't have to keep you up to speed all the time.

Then again 2014

Then from last month, clearly the Russians were surprised by the precence of a RN ship in Scottish waters. laugh.gif

How do you think Brexits coming along John?

Actually the Union created a new state and we, whether you like it or not, are born citizens and residents of that state. We are as much UK, or British as anyone else born on these islands. I was born before the UK joined the EEC and we were refused the right to decide whether we wanted EU citizenship forced upon us

Your chip is obvious to even the blind, my only grievances are that the leader of the SNP and her minions not only rejecting her previous statements about a referendum as 'only her opinion' but that she is a hypocrite who cant bloody shut up about Indy, also that the SNP policies are failing, taxes have to rise yet it is always Westminsters fault and they cant ever accept that it is themselves and their policies to blame.

Russia today is in their own words, Russias view on global news. Alex Salmonds program produced by his company and hosted by him is shown on the station and even Sturgeon offered comment on it

Russian navy ships are spotted in Scottish waters

Going into other territory is invading, claiming foreign war ships doing it certainly fits the description you describe.

I think I have changed brighter bulbs than you Jagz
I stated that 'Scottish waters' only extend 12 miles(nautical), anything beyond that are International waters yet the first link you provide says that the Russians were 30 miles out, in International waters!. I also asked for real proof of Russians being there without the intervention of the Royal Navy and the next two links show that the Royal Navy did attend and escorted them away from the 'UK’s area of interest'.
Instead of worrying whether I'm up on current affairs maybe you should read what is written and that includes your own posts

We have not left yet, if you mean the negotiations I have already explained how I would approach the demands from foreign bodies. The agreement is not set in stone and if there's a failure to reciprocate from the EU in a trade agreement then the UK leaves with no deal in place, which should suit Sturgeon just fine, sometimes i think she has a tombola machine filled with her grievances and she pulls one out every day, the same message of course 'just blame Westminster'

Even Stevie Wonder can see you've got a huge boulder on each shoulder.

You're the one who can't shut up about "Indy" even on the EU thread. yes.gif

You were wanting the SG to use the tax powers they were given, make your mind up, although these wonderful powers are little more than tinkering around the edges.

According to you the Russians are in "international waters" so perhaps you should explain to the RN that they are in breach of international law (only in John's La La Land) and Westminster can stop taking the tax revenues from oil rigs that are that are in the North sea.

I doubt if we'll be leaving the way you wanted.

You may "think" you've changed brighter light bulbs than me, but i know i've changed brighter ones than you.

So no proof about Putin and Salmond then. rolleyes.gif

Hence you were born a UK citizen and a British subject rolleyes.gif

A vote in the Scottish parliament was held, there was no widespread suffrage at that time so get over it.. There was no vote held for Robert de Bruce to fight against the English crown, do you have a grievance for that as well?

Original, not!

Again I have to point out that I was replying to your post, also if you recall it is her wee'ness who has decided to use Brexit as reason to shout Indy, the way she jumped on the delicate border problems in Ireland makes me think she'd love 3 decades of bombings and murders just so she could say 'me too' and get in on the debate

I want them to cut spending Jagz and that is why I've been saying Scotland as a country spends too much, as I'm not an idiot I recognise that more money in peoples pockets means they spend more which means secure jobs and taxes. Higher taxes jeapordises growth and jobs

According to me?? It seems only you and the Chinese think that the 12 mile territorial water limit agreed by almost every single country in the world does not apply to them. Remember that wee United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea(UNCLOS) that was brought up when Shetlands position during the referendum came up, guess what, it still applies to Scotland.
You also seem to be rather confused (quelle surprise) as to the difference between territorial waters and Exclusive Economic Zone(EEZ), probably best to go check it out before you make a bigger fool of yourself(hint, its the same UNCLOS).
QUOTE
I doubt if we'll be leaving the way you wanted.

We're leaving and probably with the Free trade agreement that I've been saying for over a year, looks to me its the way I wanted.

Then you would have wasted your money, but hey you have loads to chuck around on Taxis from Glasgow and making stupid bets

So no proof about Putin and Salmond then.

What claim are you refuting, that the Russian government owns Russia today, that Putin is the head of that Government, is it that its been called a propaganda machine for that government, is it that Salmond hosts a show on the station or that he owns the production company(part owns with Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh, 2 ex MPs in a pod laugh.gif)
