I think it's been coming, having seen a few of their games lately, they've played a decent game without getting the rewards. A wee run would bump them up the table, but last night was a good start thumbup.gif

Hopefully a win on Wednesday against Dundee and again on Hogmanay against Killie will see us moving up the table.

Hopefully we can make it three wins in a row today and finish the year in the top 6.

All the best when it comes to you all regardless which club you follow. thumbup.gif

What a beautiful day for a cup tie, and against a team i've never seen before.

C'mon the Jags. thumbup.gif

I think Jagz must be stunned by the result of the latest Celtic, Partick Thistle game. Okay it was a draw against a weakend Celtic team, but the Celtic replacement players could probably walk into any first team of the Clubs playing in the Scottish Premier League.

Well done the Jags.

Danny Harris

P.S. Well done to Celtic to for winning the League. Still hoping for a Rangers victory when they meet up with Celtic in the Cup. May the best team, on the day, win.

I was reading a newspaper report regarding Partick Thistle last week. Right at the very end of the report, it mentioned that the Club was saddened to learn of the death of one of their all-time greats, the "Firhill Flyer", Johnny MacKenzie, who passed away at the age of 91.

He made 396 appearances for the Jags, and played for Scotland nine times. The report also reminded us that the legendary Hungarian, Ferenc Puskas, playing against Scotland in 1954 said he had never before witnessed wing play of such standard, that was shown by Johnny.

Not only did I admire Johny as a player, but I also had the privilege of knowing him as a near neighbour. A very modest quiet person. He even played street football with us!

I will never forget you Johnny.

Hi Jagz, nice post.

By the way I didn't realise you are so much younger than me. Less of your cheeky comments on other topics, you young whipper-snapper!

I thought it was just the elderly that supported the Jags now!

Hope you had happy birthday.
