Enjoyed the pics Rab...went down to visit her when she made her first trip to Los Angeles Harbor...got a pic of me somewhere standing right at her Bow in the middle of the night...

I also should add that I saw her on the building ways on one of my trips back....A fortunate man indeed being as I have worked in the Maritime trade all my life....

The QE2 although more modern was only a shadow on the Queen Mary. There has been talk for years that Queen Mary will be coming home from Calefornia where she is used as a Casino and brothel. QE2 was really brilliant but was the last expensive ship built on the Clyde as no one wanted expensive ships as companies like Cunard could buy from Japan or Korea for a quarter of the price albeit without guarentees against rust problems that might result in sinking
