Alice Underground was an amazing place from the crooked pictures on the wall as you walked down to the suspended pianist and the 'cheers' bar ... when you could get to it I mean crossing that road could be dangerous at times... Just look what happened to the morris minor.

Seriously what a shame that it closed. Many a good night was spent in there.

I remember it fondly! It had a seriously oversize door on Cambridge St. with oversize "letterbox", doorknob, etc. so you already felt that you had become smaller before you had even gone inside!
