There's another thread for that debate, Jagz.

We're all about staying in/ leaving the EU on here.

Posts like your last one are divisive and unhelpful.

You're one to complain at anyone for going off topic. laugh.gif

I'm all for Scotland staying in the EU.

How was my last post "divisive and unhelpful"?

For me, it doesn't matter who leads the rebellion. It's a temporary solution, a discordant prelude to a general election.

And what happens if the rebellion succeeds or if there is another Westminster GE Kem?

Nothing will change.

Time to regain our independence, your union has failed Scotland.

  That's the spirit!

We Remainers need to stick together. unsure.gif

Swinton is playing the “how do we get political capital out of this situation” game. She, and her aides, didn’t come up with the plan so she’s not playing. To be honest, I wouldn’t put Corbyn in charge of a bag of sweeties. Ken Clark or Harriet Harman have put themselves forward to do the job, either would do. So what we need now is for all the party leaders, other than Johnston, to put their egos to bed and get on with stopping the right wing megalomaniacs in the cabinet in their tracks.

A little self-reflection does no harm at all, Jagz. wink.gif

I think Jo is making sure Corbyn's head doesn't grow too big for his shoulders. For me, it doesn't matter who leads the rebellion. It's a temporary solution, a discordant prelude to a general election. With the big two in disarray, those Parties with strongly defined proposals on Brexit (both Leave and Remain) should do well at the ballot box.

I watched her performance on telly, responding initially to the Corbyn proposal. She certainly seems to have all the attributes to lead her party........up the garden path that is rolleyes.gif

Spot on Ash, although i'm sure Kem will be along soon to accuse us of being filthy misogynist nationalist Trump supporters or anything to deflect attention away from his hapless leader. wink.gif

Back on topic, it looks like Jo Swinson took the FMs advice to "rethink" her position over Corbyn's proposal to replace Johnson as PM to stop a no deal Brexit.

She's taken over from Ruth as Queen of the Flip Flops. laugh.gif

I detest all the posturing of the world's leading countries right now. If putting your country first is the way to go, then count me out. In that context, I find 'country' a bad and harmful word.

stuff "context"kem, say it like it is. thumbup.gif
