The usual shot to finish with, 3 Glescapals

I hope you enjoyed our walk, we all did
Good to be back out after our short break
Thanks to all who were able to join us, perhaps its just as well that some of you didn't join us because of the weather conditions, if I had been driving I would have stopped long before Aberfoyle.
Thanks PatD for doing the driving, gave me a break

Walk was suggested by BigG and PatD and led by them, thanks to both of you

This path takes us behind the hill you see in the shot, Brown Hill, 344mtrs

This hill is Irish Law, we wont be doing it today, its not on our route

Still striding to get behind Brown Hill

Brown Hill is on the right of the photo, we are almost behind it, still a bit of uphill to go

The usual shot to finish with 3 Glescapals

8 of us on the walk today, easy enough on good roads, we walked 9 miles today

Good to see Joe and Ellen back but they were not going home via Lochwinnoch so no pub for them today
Thanks to bigG for suggesting, leading and supplying a map for this walk
All of us bar Joe have done this one before, we all enjoyed it

Weather was not too bad, some mist,no rain and not that cold
An early finish meant that I didn't encounter any hold ups on the motorway, makes a change, I hope the other drivers also had it easy
Thanks to all who were able to join us
Betty took the bar shot,thanks

Hi folk this walk was on the 26th January, the Kilpatrick Hills above Hardgate, Clydebank
We had intended to walk along Jaw Reservoir, cross over the tops of the dams, go around Cochno Loch and onto Cochno Hill and back, alas we couldn't get a path through the woods of by the waters edge so we ended up coming back the way we started and completed 6 miles

Our route is marked with arrows

Ready for our walk
