Right a will start, a met ma first love when i was 16 he stayed in royston, he was a butcher and he worked in a shop near where i lived,

He asked me out and i thought he was cute so we ended up going to the pictures all cosy in the back row,

we went out for 2 years and i finished it cos i we were to young to settle down.

My friend met him in the town about 5 years ago and she said he asked about me, and told her to say hello to me, he is married with kids but i thought that was nice asking for me after 18 years smile.gif

Mine was Donald Maclean he lived up the road from me at elliston dve in priesthill, he went to my school and was a year older than me, i used to walk past his place all the time and was always in company with him on numerous occassions through school and freinds. One day his sister invited me to a party at they're place, i was so chuffed, all innocent of course as i was at least all of 8yrs old, that really got my heart thumping, he also went to the same high school as me (craigbank) anyway the day i was leaving school to leave for NZ/Australia, would you believe it, he asked me to go out, and be his girlfriend, i was shattered and told him i was leaving the country, so he gave me a wee kiss there and then and told me he was sorry it took him so long to get to this stage because he liked me too and did'nt know how to let me know, . Boo hoo, life goes on sad.gif

Ye huv tae laugh though Tori...is that no jist typical!!
Never mind, as ma gran used tae say ye left somethin tae the imagination laugh.gif

Betty OF COURSE they think of us, how could they no??
We are women and fantastic !!

You always hold a soft spot for yer first love ah think, ah still keep in touch wae mine {he found me through Friends Reunited}though huvnae set eyes on him for over twenty years.
Never did date him.
Last time ah met him wis ah no makin up a foursome wae his brother....ye waant tae talk aboot luck Tori????

Cripes nae wunner they say ye'v goat tae laugh or ye'd greet!

When ah got the email ah wis aw touched, he wis that sweet in it sayin lovely things about years gone by an missed chances.
Then he shattered the illusion when he finished it aff wae ..an ah'll never forget yer beautiful blue eyes.....any darker an ma eyes wid be black they're that dark broon.

Men...don't start me Melody! guffawguffawguffaw

"I Remember It Well"

We met at nine. We met at eight.
I was on time. No, you were late.
Ah yes! I remember it well.

We dined with friends. We dined alone.
A tenor sang. A baritone.
Ah yes! I remember it well.

That dazzling April moon! There was none that night,
And the month was June.

That's right! That's right!
It warms my heart to know that
you remember still the way you do.
Ah yes! I remember it well.

How often I've thought of that Friday, Monday
night,
when we had our last rendez-vous.
And somehow I've foolishly wondered
if you might by some chance be
thinking of it too?

That carriage ride. You walked me home.
You lost a glove. I lost a comb.
Ah yes! I remember it well.

That brilliant sky. We had some rain.
Those Russian songs. From sunny Spain.
Ah yes! I remember it well.

You wore a gown of gold. I was all in blue.
Am I getting old? Oh no! Not you!
How strong you were,
how young and gay;
A prince of love in every way.
Ah yes! I remember it well.

Oh ah better get the ironin' done here!!
