Stewart the pic above is the before pic,things have changed drastically since it was taken.All the auld close's are now gone. The next pic is of the Dougrie shops now called the "Braes" shopping center

Many thanks for the photos,they look good. I lived at 214 Castlemilk Drive untill 1963 and then I moved with my parents to Canada,I was about 7 at the time. I still have some good memories of Castlemilk adn have come home a couple of times in the 80's. Stewart

Many thanks for the Photos,it must of been very sad for the people that lived there to see there old home knocked down. I was digging through my own photos and found one of an old family friend up on top of Caslemilk. Helen Scott with her dog Glen,I think it would of been taken in the late 70's or early 80's. Stewart

oh bob you are in for a shoke your hoose is awe poshed up but brilliant so am sure you will enjoy the trip hom a was looking at my old house yesterday and a felt like crying as a was at ma pals in crawfoot so a went to my bros via castlemilk dr and ardencraig road my old hoose an up carmunock and then to busby then clarcston oh life changing stuff
