what people do you know from Possil that are famous{other than georgia} Three names spring to mind, Jim Watt /Bardowie st.Kenny Dalgliesh /Bardowie st /theMilton. Bertie Auld /Panmure St. anymore?

Kenny Dalglish was my neighbour. We all moved into our new houses in Milton in 1952. The Dalglish's were 4 doors down from us. I used to play 'wee hooses' and skipping ropes etc. with his sister Carol. I believed the family lived in Dalmarnock initially before moving to Milton. He is 3 years younger than me and I can remember him sitting outside his house in his big pram when he was about 2 and I was 5.

I remember Edith Fisher at Miltonbank Primary School, her stage name was Jeannie Fisher, she was Morag in 'Take The High Road'.

Graham Knight from Marmalade went to my secondary school Albert Senior Secondary as did Karl Denver and Jimmy MacGregor (from Robin Hall & Jimmy McGregor)

Not sure if any of them originated in Possil though!!!

Robin Hall(late) who sang with Jimmie McGregor was a Govanhill lad, I remember him in his Boy Scout uniform.
