Can't go prawns at all but the Mackerel sounds good.

As a gastronome, I wonder if you have any suggestions on what dish one of our TV celebrity chefs was going to cook. I encountered his going through Glasgow Airport with the largest pack (about 2ft long) of Jaffa cakes? Perhaps they were just for the crew to have with their tea smile.gif

I have a pot of Minestrone soup on the go .

for supper tonight it will be ,Penne pasta with
onion ,garllic , mushrooms done in butter , italian sausage ,
parmesan cheese . " No Tomato sauce "

Interesting trip to butchers in Camberwell this afternoon where they had boiling fowl for sale - 3 for a Fiver.
Haven't seen birds trussed up and on open display like that in decades - see pic of Stow st in the 1950s. It's a common sight down here though according to my son.
